SELF

Self-documentation is as simple as pointing the camera at something reflective. Sometimes I do it on purpose, but occasionally I don't find myself until afterwards, a by-product of a window or a shiny surface.  On another level, maybe I'm a part of every picture I take, painting my own perspective through the camera lens.  Maybe that I choose to take the picture says more about me than a picture of my face ever could.

1 / Looking into the closed art gallery.
2 / Obliquely documenting my haircut.
3 / Standing in the woods, looking into the backseat of our car.
4-5 / Taken through the car window.  If you find the bits of plaid shirt in the lower parts of these pictures, you'll be able to find my camera and my hands.
6 / Taken in a streamer-bedecked chandelier at my parent's house.  I'm reflected in it about an inch above the center of the picture.
